The Plateau State governor, Simon Lalong, has placed a one-week “total lockdown” on the state effective from Thursday midnight to curb the spread of Coronavirus pandemic.
The governor gave the order in his second statewide broadcast on Monday.
He said: “To this effect, I am directing a total lockdown, effective 12 midnight of Thursday, 9th April, 2020 to 11pm of Wednesday 15th April 2020.”
