The Federal Government has ordered compulsory COVID-19 tests for all prospective National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, corps members.

Recall that the government had approved the reopening of all NYSC orientation camps from November 10, 2020.

The National Coordinator of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, Sani Aliyu, gave the order during a briefing in Abuja on Thursday.

According to him, all the prospective corps members must be tested before getting into orientation camps to checkmate spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

Mr Aliyu said: “We have developed guidelines with the NCDC (Nigeria Centre for Disease Control) and the NYSC in the preparation for the reopening of the orientation camps on the 10th of November, 2020.
