Workers in the Jigawa State Government have started receiving payment of the 30,000 new Minimum Wage for the month of December.
The Jigawa State Head of the Civil Service, Hussaini Ali Kila, made the disclosure in a statement signed by his Public Relations officer.
According to the statement, some workers have already received bank alerts of their December salary.
The head of service, therefore, called on the workers in the state to reciprocate the gesture by rededicating themselves to duty.
Recall that Governor Badaru Abubakar had pledged that workers in the state would start receiving the N30,000 minimum wage soon as the state had already captured it in the 2019 budget.
