The convener of Concerned Nigerians, Deji Adeyanju, has been released on bail by a Kano State Magistrate Court on Monday.
Mr Adeyanju was remanded in a Kano prison on charges of culpable homicide by the Nigeria Police Force, despite his acquittal of the charges by a Kano High Court in 2009.

Mr Adeyanju was granted bail in the sum of N500,000 and two sureties. The court also ordered him to deposit his international passport.
Mr Adeyanju had spent 63 days in prison before Monday’s bail.
