Despite scoring 2 votes at Kaduna PDP primaries, over 300 delegates called to claim voting for me – Shehu Sani

Despite losing the party primaries, a Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship aspirant in Kaduna State, Shehu Sani, has said that he received calls from delegates who claimed to have voted for him in the election.

Mr Sani had polled only two votes in the primaries that was won by Isa Ashiru who polled a total of 414 votes to pick the party’s ticket.

Writing on his social media handles, the senator who represented Kaduna Central in the 8th National Assembly, commended the two delegates who voted for him without offering the a Kobo.

The senator said he would wish to see them for appreciations.

He said: “The Kaduna PDP Governorship primaries has been concluded. I lost and Honourable Isah Ashiru won. I wish to congratulate him.

“Two Delegates voted for me without giving them a dime; unfortunately, I don’t know who they are, so that I can appreciate these clean votes. We look forward.”

But a few hours after the post, the Senator wrote again, disclosing that he had received over 300 calls from people who claimed to be the two delegates who voted for him during the primaries.

“Two delegates voted for me without paying them kobo; But I have received over 300 calls from Different Delegates claiming that they are the two that voted for me and want to come and see me… See me se wahala abeg,” Mr Sani wrote.
