Michael Diete-Spiff, son of the Amayanabo of Twon-Brass in Bayelsa State, King Alfred Diete-Spiff, has said the reappointment of Abba Kyari and Boss Mustapha as the Chief of Staff and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation will further consolidate on the gains so far recorded by the administration.
Mr. Spiff who made the remarks in a statement issued to newsmen in Abuja, said the invaluable contribution of the duo to the successes of the Buhari administration informed their reappointment by the President.
“Mr. Kyari is an astute public official, who has displayed enormous skill and tact in administering the Office of the Chief of Staff to the President. His experience in the financial sector, the media and the public service in general was brought to bear in the last four years and we saw a lot of stability in the system. The Presidency was more organized with Kyari in charge. He is a veteran Buhari loyalist.
“Mustapha is a thorough-bred politician who understands the nuances of governance. He successful organized the maiden edition of the June 12 Democracy Day Celebration to the admiration of all and sundry. He brought a lot of panache and dexterity to the system. His reappointment is a huge plus to the Buhari Administration,” he said.
Mr. Spiff said Kyari and Mustapha are men of immense capability and capacity and have acquainted themselves creditably so far.
He dismissed those alleging nepotism in the appointment, saying the president is at liberty to appoint his personal staff from wherever he chooses.
The Prince of Twon-Brass congratulated the appointees, saying their appointments are apt and critical in driving the Next Level Agenda of the Buhari Administration.
