Cash money artist, Drake has broken yet another streaming record, this time with Apple Music.
Drake’s “God’s Plan” was streamed over 14 million times worldwide on its first day of release, setting a new first day streaming record on the platform.
The ’10am in New York’ artist has broken yet another Spotify record. Just over a year after being named the streaming service’s most-played artist ever, his surprise new single “God’s Plan” has now tallied the most plays in a single day – a cool 4,326,679 listens in a span of 24 hours.
“God’s Plan” was released over the weekend along with “Diplomatic Immunity” as part of a project called Scary Hours.
No word yet on whether these songs will appear elsewhere or if a full-length is in the works – but surely the wait won’t be much longer, no matter what happens.
