The Senator representing Niger South at the National Assembly, Muhammad-Enagi Bima, has urged Nigerians to keep on with the acts of purity, charity, perseverance and tolerance beyond the month of Ramadan.
The Senator made the call in a statement on Wednesday marking the end of Ramadan and Eid-el-Fitr celebrations.
Mr Bima also called on Nigerians to continue to pray against all the challenges confronting the country and the world in general.
The Senator restated his commitment to representing his constituents diligently, saying that he would leave no stone unturned to make Niger South a greater place.
The statement read: “To Muslims in Niger South, Niger State, Nigeria and across the world, I heartily wish you EID MUBARAK.
“I strongly beseech Allah to accept our acts of Ibadat in the course of Ramadan and after. May He grant us all the (good) things we prayed for in the Holy Month. May every blessing about this season abide by us.
“Going forward, I enjoin us to sustain the acts of purity, charity, perseverance and tolerance, which we imbibed in the course of the Holy Month, in our daily lives and general conducts.
“We should also continue to pray for Nigeria, our dear country, for Allah’s intervention against all the challenges that confront our nation and the world in general.
“The people of Niger South should be assured that I will continue to represent them diligently at the National Assembly. “No stone is going to be left unturned’ as far as making Niger South a greater place is concerned.
“Thank you for your supports and prayers. Barka Da Sallah.”
