Awopetu explained that the focus of the Dr Kayode Fayemi-led administration was to discover hidden talents as well as encourage talented youths.

The commissioner added that government was determined to gainfully engage the youths with sports activities.

“Our Ministry is committed to taking the youths out of the streets in order to engage them in productive activities,” he said.

Awopetu urged the committee members to work assiduously towards achieving the desired goals, stressing the need for them to justify the confidence reposed in them by the state government.
