The chairman of the Ekiti State Governorship Election Tribunal, Justice Suleiman Belgore, has moved sitting in the suit challenging the emergence of Kayode Fayemi as governor from Ado Ekiti to Abuja.
The decision followed unanimous plea by the parties involved in the case, the All Progressives Congress, APC’s Kayode Fayemi and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP’s Kolapo Olusola.
Mr Olusola had filed the petition challenging the victory of APC candidate, Kayode Fayemi in the election.
But both parties filed application requesting the transfer of the venue to Abuja over security issues.
