Enugu monarch: Igbos will support Buhari’s re-election in 2019

Igbo community in the country will vote for Muhammadu Buhari in the 2019 presidential election, Igwe Obiora Igwesi, the traditional ruler of Umuoha Obuoffia autonomous community in Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State, has said.

Mr Igwesi said Igbo states, including Enugu are solidly in support of Buhari seeking a second term in 2019.

The traditional ruler spoke when the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina pid him a visit at his palace.

He said “Those who looted our wealth are vomiting it. Send concerns of this palace to him. We are grateful to him. We urge him to do more. Let him stem the tide of corruption in this country.

“If we had people like him before, this country will be heaven and earth. By 2019, with his health intact, he will come to finish the good job he started.”
