An ex-Nigerian beauty queen and former Miss Ambassador for Peace, Josephine Igoche is dead.

The young model passed away on Monday in Kaduna after a brief illness.

A brother of the deceased, Peter Igoche, confirmed the news of her demise in a Facebook post saying: “It will be very difficult to accept the reality of the loss, and it will be even more difficult to go through the pain of the loss.

“When you lose a sister, the pain of it can turn your whole world upside down. You not only lose a sister but a whole support system.

“The hole that they leave in your hearts is a hole that no one could ever fill, and the sister that you lost is a sister that can never be replaced. R.I.P sis. I WILL SEE YOU ON THE OTHER SIDE.”

Ms Igoche studied BSc (Hons) Political Science at Nasarawa State University, Keffi.

She attended Federal Government College Malali Kaduna.
