Former Zamfara Governor Abdulaziz Yari has appealed to the incumbent governor of the state, Bello matawalle, to begin payment of his N10million monthly upkeep allowance and pensions.

In a letter dated October 17 and obtained by TheCable, the governor said that he had only been paid twice since he left office on March 29, 2019.

Mr Yari reminded the governor that the law provides for such entitlements to former governors, deputies, speakers and deputy speakers.
