The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted dust haze, sunny and partly cloudy atmosphere over most parts of the country with prospects of morning mist over the southern coast on Wednesday.
NiMet’s Weather Outlook on Tuesday in Abuja predicted dust haze condition over the central region throughout the forecast period.
It added that the region would have day and night temperatures in the ranges of 29 to 35 and 14 to 22 degrees Celsius.
The agency predicted that the Northern states would experience dust haze condition over the region throughout the forecast period with horizontal visibility of two to five kilometres.
It also predicted horizontal visibility of less than or equal to 1000m over Katsina, Kano, Nguru and Potiskum with day and night temperatures of 31 to 34 and 12 to 19 degrees Celsius respectively.

According to NiMet, Southern States will experience sunny and hazy conditions over the inland cities throughout the period of forecast with early morning mist over the coastal cities.
”There are chances of cloudy conditions during the afternoon and evening hours with day and night temperatures of 33 to 35 and 19 to 24 degrees Celsius respectively.
“Dust haze conditions are expected to prevail over the northern and some central states while hazy and cloudy conditions are likely over the inland and coastal cities in the next 24 hours,” NiMet predicted.
