A famous Kano hotelier and industrialist, Tahir Fadlallah, has died aged 74 in Beirut, Lebanon on Friday morning.
DAILY NIGERIAN gathered that the CEO of famous Tahir Guest Palace was admitted to Clemenceau Medical Center in Beirut on April 15 and remained in the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital until his death.
Mr Fadlallah was flown from Kano to Beirut on April 23, 2020 after developing complications of Covid-19.
Family sources told DAILY NIGERIAN that he had been bedridden since he was flown to Beirut two years ago.
The late hotelier, who left behind a wife and five children, had left in his will that wherever he died, his body should be buried in Kano.
Born on February 5, 1948 in Beirut, Lebanon, the late Fadlallah settled in Kano with his parents when he was two years old.
In May 2020, he was honoured alongside 81 other notable individuals by Kano State Government for his contributions to the development of the state.
