FCE Zaria converted to Federal University of Education, gets acting VC

The Federal Ministry of Education has announced the appointment of Dr. Suleiman Balarabe as the acting Vice-Chancellor, Federal University of Education, Zaria.

This is contained in a statement by Sani Lawal-Makarfi, Special Assistant to the acting vice-chanellor, on Tuesday in Zaria.

He said the development was sequel to the conversion of the Federal College of Education, Zaria, to the Federal University of Education.

Mr Lawal-Makarfi said the appointment was conveyed via a letter signed by Dr Nasiru Sani-Gwarzo, Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Education.

While congratulating the acting VC, Mr Gwarzo urged him to continue with the good work.

Mr Balarabe began his administrative journey as the Head of Department, English Language, and progressively rose through the ranks.

He held the offices of the Dean, School of Languages, Deputy Provost, and Provost of the defunct Federal College of Education, Zaria.
