The acting President Yemi Osinbajo, on Wednesday, presided over the weekly Federal Executive Council, FEC, meeting following the absence of President Muhammadu Buhari who had gone to London for a 10-day leave.
DAILY NIGERIAN gathered that the meeting, which started around 11 am, had about 28 ministers in attendance.
An observer said that the turn-out was so unusual considering the lacklustre attitude some ministers often exhibit anytime the vice president presides.

According to another source, the large turn-out might not be unconnected with the recent show of strength Mr Osinbajo had exhibited by sacking the DSS Director General, Lawal Daura.
Our correspondent gathered that some of the ministers in attendance are Okechukwu Enelamah (Trade and Investment ) Muhammadu Bello (Federal Capital Territory) Udo Udo Udoma (National Planning ), Chris Ngige (Labour and Employment )Heineken Lokpobiri (State Minister for Agriculture )
Others are Zainab Ahmed (State Minister, Budget and Planning), Sen Hadi Sirika (Aviation), Abubakar Malami (Justice), Lai Mohammed (Information), Babatunde Fashola ( Power, Works and Housing ), Kemi Adeosun (Finance ), Aisha Abubakar (Trade and Investment), Aisha Alhassan Taraba (Women Affairs) among others.
