The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for 2023 election in Adamawa State, Ahmadu Fintiri, has picked Professor Kaletapwa Farauta as his running mate.
Mrs Farauta is the Vice-Chancellor of Adamawa State University, ADSU, Mubi
The governor’s spokesman, Solomon Kumangar, confirmed the development to newsmen on Thursday in Yola.
Mrs Farauta hails from Numan, in the southern zone of Adamawa State.
She had earlier held the position of chairman of the Adamawa State Universal Basic Education Board, ADSUBEB, and also the Commissioner for Education.
She was a lecturer at the Modibbo Adama University, MAU, Yola.
Mrs Farauta, who was born on November 28, 1965 in Numan, Southern Adamawa, is married with children.
