Officers of the Kano State Fire Service have rescued a six-year-old boy, Habu Amadu, who fell into a well at Tudun Wada, Lungun Mahauta in Kano city.
Director of Kano State Fire Service, Sagir Madaki, said in Kano on Thursday that the boy fell into the well on Wednesday.
He said the boy was rescued alive from the well and handed to his parents.
Mr Madaki said that a neighbour raised an alarm and informed the state Fire Service that Amadu had fell inside the well.
