Abba Bichi, the flamboyant son of the director-general of the State Security Service, SSS, Yusuf Magaji Bichi, has been gifted a five-bedroom duplex at Hilltop Estate, Apo, Abuja by a real estate company, BSTAN.
Mr Bichi, a soccer enthusiast and socialite who flaunts riches, recently faulted the arrest of popular club-owner Obi Cubana by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
Announcing the gift of the house on Thursday, the group managing director of the company, Becky Olubukola, said the duplex is worth N90 million.
She unveiled Mr Bichi as the youth ambassador of Home Titan Network, one of the group’s housing products in Abuja.
Mrs Olubukola, an engineer, said Mr Bichi deserves the role as the company’s ambassador for his belief in the future of Nigeria and his patriotism.
“We have found him worthy of this role because he is not given to ethnic sentiments. He is a patriotic Nigerian who believes in the future of the country and he has the wisdom of an elder,” she said.
She explained that the house was one of Home Titans Network’s products.
In his response, Mr Bichi thanked the company for the gift and finding him worthy as its ambassador.
“This is not for me alone but this is for the youth. Know that wherever you are, strive to achieve greatness,” he said.
