According to publishers, Segilola Publishing, Flavour is the brain behind the lead character, Lord Akin, The God of Thunder. The novel is set to be launched in London, with U.K.-based Nigerian Comedian Klinton Cod, as host.

The publishing outfit said, “The novel touches on several concepts. First, it talks of a very frightening, but commonplace theme in Nigeria and possibly, Africa – that is, having a spiritual husband. Then it correlates with a light-skinned, beauty being called Abiku, an evil spirit.”

On why the Nigerian music star played a prominent role in the novel, the publishers explained that as a huge fan of the musician, “apparently, when Salau, the author was writing the features of Lord Akin, Flavour’s image kept flashing through her mind’s eyes.”
