The Bauchi State Emergency Management Agency, BASEMA, says no fewer than 100 houses and several farmlands have been destroyed by devastating floods in the Darazo Local Government Area of the state.

The Acting Director-General of the agency, Bala Lame, told the News Agency Nigeria on Saturday in Bauchi that the flooding was caused by three days of persistent rainfall in the area.
