A former Senate President David Mark, has lost his eldest son, Tunde, on Friday.

The deceased died at the age of 51 in a London hospital where he underwent treatment for cancer.

In a statement signed by Mr Mark’s adviser, Paul Mumeh, he said Tunde was born on October 13, 1971 and attended Yaba Military School, where he obtained his first school leaving certificate.

He later proceeded to Bradfield College, Berkshire, UK, for his Secondary school education.

The late Tunde, who was a biochemist, obtained B.Sc degree from King’s College, London.

He also studied immunology alongside biochemistry and later Biological Sciences in the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences, Harvard, Cambridge, Massachusetts.

The statement disclosed that the late deceased was married with a daughter.

The statement added that the funeral arrangements would be communicated in due course.
