The governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu, on Tuesday presented 18 nominees to the Ondo State House of Assembly for confirmation as commissioners.
A son of the late former governor of Ondo State, Adebayo Adefarati, Adegboyega; younger brother of the late governor Olusegun Agagu, Femi; and ex-Chief Press Secretary Yemi Olowolabi are among those who made the list.
A statement by the Chief Press Secretary Segun Ajiboye said Mr Akeredolu had submitted the list to the Speaker in accordance with Section 192 of the 1999 Constitution (as amended).
The house will invite the 18 nominees before next week.
