The governor of Jigawa State, Badaru Abubakar, has approved the appointment of a former minister of Power and Steel, Bashir Dalhatu, as chairman, Governing Board of Jigawa Investment and Properties Limited.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State, Adamu Abdulkadir Fanini.
Similarly, the governor has also approved the appointments of two other renowned business men, Salisu Sambajo and Mukhtar Ya’u M.Y as members of the governing board.
The statement said the appointments was “purely on merit, competence and personal integrity.”
The statement added: “it is hoped that the new appointees would discharge their duties diligently with dedication and probity.”
The appointments take immediate effect.
