Gov. Bagudu emerges APC Governors’ Forum chairman

The Progressive Governors Forum has elected Governor Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State as its chairman, replacing the outgoing governor of Imo state, Rochas Okorocha.

According to a statement on its Twitter handle on Friday, the forum, which comprises all the governors under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, said the decision followed the expiration Mr Okorocha’s tenure as governor of Imo State.

Our correspondent gathered that Mr Bagudu was elected at the meeting of the governors held Thursday night at Imo governor’s lodge, Abuja.

Mr Bagudu is serving his second term as governor of Kebbi State.
