The governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed, has appointed veteran broadcaster and media manager, Ladan Salihu as his Chief of Staff.
The appointment followed the voluntary resignation of Abubakar Kari, who held the position since June 2019.
In a statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Mohammed Baba, the governor thanked Mr Kari for the selfless service rendered during his tenure of office as Chief Of Staff and wished him Allah’s guidance in his future endeavours.
Until his appointment as Chief of Staff, Mr Ladan Salihu was the Commissioner, Ministry of Information and Communication.
On October 18, Nura Manu-Soro, the then Bauchi State Commissioner for Finance resigned shortly after his redeployment to the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
