The Niger State Governor Abubakar Sani Bello is mulling over suspending his Chief of Staff, Mikail Bmitosahi, DAILY NIGERIAN has learnt.
Sources closed to the state’s government house told DAILY NIGERIAN that the governor allegedly considers suspending Mr Bmitosahi over incompetency and diversion of N600million.
According to him, the governor had been pilling and stomaching the serial cases of incompetence as well as fraudulent movements of the chief of staff until it got to his neck.
The source further revealed that there is an ongoing rift and Power tussle between the Chief Press Secretary, Jibrin Ndache and the Senior Special Assistant, ICT (Government House), Abdulbaqi Usman Ebbo, over the N10 million released by the governor to settle bloggers.
“The matter is being played down so that the governor doesn’t get to hear about it. Worse still, I fear that that money would not get to the right people for which it was released,” the source regretted.
However, when contacted, the Mr Ndache flatly denied the suspension movement as well as the release of N10million for bloggers.
