The Institute of Professional Managers and Administrators of Nigeria, IPMA, has conferred an Honourary Fellowship of the Institute on the governor of Zamfara State, Bello Matawalle.
The award, which took place Grace Point Resort Abuja, witnessed the induction of new members into the institute.
The institute said the award was in conformity with the its policy of expressing and encouraging good governance at the federal, state and local government levels across the country.
The seal of the award in part says, “this is in consideration of of your contribution to managerial and administrative protection for the development of mankind”.
Mr Matawalle thanked the Institute for the award and promised to do more for the wellbeing of the people of Zamfara State.
Since the attainment of peace in the state, a number of professional institutions across Nigeria have honoured the governor for reducing armed banditry to barest minimum in his state.
