Governor Dikko Radda of Katsina has congratulated the state Commissioner of Police, Aliyu Abubakar-Musa, on his elevation to the rank of Assistant Inspector General of Police, AIG.
In a statement on Monday, the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Kaula-Mohammed, said the governor commended the new AIG for his relentless efforts and strategic interventions in combating insecurity across the state, noting that his tenure has ushered in significant improvements in the state’s security architecture.
“AIG Aliyu Abubakar Musa exemplifies the finest qualities of law enforcement leadership. His hardworking nature, operational savvy, and strategic approach to security challenges have contributed immensely to the restoration of peace and stability in our communities,” the governor said.
Mr Radda further emphasized that AIG Musa’s dedication to duty and professional excellence have enhanced the confidence of Katsina citizens in security agencies, describing him as “a fine police officer who goes every length possible to ensure the safety of lives and properties”.
The governor reaffirms its commitment to continuing collaborative efforts with security agencies under the Federal Government to completely eradicate all forms of criminality in the state.
