Mr Radda, therefore, urged the federal government to accelerate completion of the wind farm at the state level, believing it would enhance socio-economic activities and foster robust economic growth across the state.

The Vergnet Energy is the Original Equipment Manufacturer, OEM, responsible for the 10MW Lambar Rimi Wind Farm, an ambitious project poised to transform the state’s energy landscape.

During the visit, Mr Radda led the State Government team to engage in an in-depth roundtable technical discussion with Vergnet Energy’s experts.

The focus of the discussions was on the project’s current progress and the plans for its next phases.

This step marks a clear signal of the state’s dedication to powering its future through innovative, clean energy solutions, ultimately benefiting the people of Katsina for generations to come.

The meeting received discussions and technical insights from Katsina State’s technical team, represented by Engr. Abdulaziz Lawal Kuringafa and Engr. Sada Yakubu, as well as Haruna Abbagana, Lead Consultant to the governor, and the Genesis Energy team, led by the respected Akinwole Omoboriowo II.
