Gov. Yusuf appoints 14 additional special advisers, 57 SSAs, 44 media aides

The governor of Kano State Abba Yusuf has approved the appointment of 14 additional special advisers, 57 senior special assistants and 44 senior special reporters to various ministries, departments and agencies in the state.

This is contained in a statement issued by the governor’s spokesman, Sanusi Dawakin Tofa, in Kano on Saturday.

DAILY NIGERIAN reports that among 57 senior special assistants, 12 are related to media and publicity.

You may recall that the Kano State House of Assembly has granted the approval of 60 special advisers to the governor, 31 of which have been assigned portfolios.

The 14 additional special advisers are as follows:

1. Dr. Danyaro Ali Yakasai, Special Adviser, Policy and Social Development

2. Alh. Garba Aliyu Hungu, Special Adviser, Industries

3. Dr. Bashir Abdu Muzakkari Fagge, Special Adviser, Cyber Security

4. Hon. Ismail Shehu Gurjiya, Special Adviser, Grassroot Mobilisation

5. Hon. Nasiru Kunya, Special Adviser, Support Groups

6. Hon. Ali Yahuza Gano, Special Adviser, Metropolitan Affairs

7. Hajiya Habiba Mustapha Baura, Special Adviser, Domestic Affairs

8. Hajiya (Dr.) Fatima Abubakar Amneef, Special Adviser, Special Assignment (Women)

9. Hon. Yusuf Shehu Kibiya, Special Adviser, Community Policy

10. Hon. Ali Abdu Doguwa, Special Adviser, Political Strategy

11. Hajiya Aisha Muhammad Idris, Special Adviser Food Security

12. Hon. Shehu Aliyu Yammedi, Special Adviser, Lafiya Jari Programme

13. Comrade Nura Iro Ma’aji, Special Adviser, Students Matters

14. Dr. Abdulhadi Zubairu Chula, Special Adviser Enlightenment and Social Mobilisation

The appointees are directed to assume their new responsibilities with immediate effect.

Mr Dawakin Tofa said all the appointments took immediate effect.
