Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State has reappointed the former Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Usman Shuwa, just as he appointed the country representative for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Mairo Mandara as his Special Adviser and Coordinator on Sustainable Development, Partnership and humanitarian supports.
In a statement on Wednesday, signed by the governor’s Principal Private Secretary, Mustapha Busuguma, the governor also approved the appointment of Dr Banagana Wakil as the Chief of Staff at the Government House.
Others included Amb Adamu Abbas, Senior Special Assistant on External Relations, and Ahmed Sanda as Senior Special Assistant on protocol.
Isa Gusau, who is Special Adviser on Public Relations and Strategy; Baba Sheikh Haruna, Senior Special Assistant (media), Tanimu Tahir, Special Assistant on media and Abdulrahaman Bundi, Special Assistant on New Media have also been retained.
