The governor of Yobe State and chairman All Progressives Congress, APC Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, Mai Mala Buni, on Thursday revalidated his membership registration of the party at his Sarkin Tasha Ward in Buni, Gujba Local Government Are of Yobe State.
The governor was received by officials of the state government, APC leaders at Gujba Local Government and thousands of supporters.
The registration of new members and update of register of the APC commenced on January 25, with members of party revalidating their membership registration at their wards.
The Governor Buni-lead caretaker committee embarked on the revalidation and registration exercise to create a member-centered party structure that would guarantee full participation of all and accord privileges to strengthen APC members’ trust, beliefs and engagements in all its activities.
In a statement last week, Mr Buni restated the commitment of the party to reconciling aggrieved members through the registration and revalidation of its membership.
