The orderly to the deputy governor of Enugu State, Cecelia Ezeilo, has been killed by unknown gunmen on Tuesday.
Reports said the gunman struck Tuesday night in Enugu, the State capital, killing the female police officer identified as Helen.
Sources said she was shot dead at Abakpa-Nike area of Enugu metropolis at about 10pm on her way to her home from office.
The spokesman to Enugu Police Command, Ebere Amarizu, confirmed the incident, saying he would make further comment today after getting to the roots of the matter.
