The chairman of Gwarzo Local Government Area of Kano State, Bashir Abdullahi, has written a petition to police, State Security Service, SSS and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC against members New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP, for allegedly killing a supporter of APC and injuring others.

In the petition sent to DAILY NIGERIAN on Wednesday, Mr Abdullahi accused a former TETfund boss, Baffa Bichi, of spearheading the attack.

In the petition, signed by his lawyers, Salisu Muhammad Lawal and Ibrahim Abere, the chairman said that the attack happened when Mr Bichi led the party’s campaign trail to Kutama Ward in Gwarzo Local Area of the state.

He alleged that Mr Bichi led other NNPP officials such as Nasir Sule Garo, Kabiru Haruna, Abdullahi Kwami and Umaru Danmakau to the community, brandishing “dangerous weapons, including guns.”

The petition said when they reached their target, they instantly shot one person, identified as Abdullahi Shuaibu, who died in hospital in Gwarzo.

The petition also alleged that the NNPP supporters shot other members of the public, including Mallam Umar, Ibrahim Umar and Babangida Ado, leaving them with different degrees of bullet injuries on their legs.
