President MuhammaduBuhari has approved the immediate disengagement of 24 chief executive officers of some parastatals, agencies and commissions.
Earlier on Monday, the president sacked all heads of the six agencies under the ministry of Information and Culture.
A statement by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation Babachir Davil Lawan, said the most senior officers in the parastatals, agencies and councils are to oversee the activities of the organizations pending the appointment of substantive chief executive officers.
