Ahead of preparations for the forthcoming 2021-22 Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL, campaign, the management of Heartland Football Club has promoted chief coach, Hassan Sharif-Abdallah to the position of Technical Adviser.
According to a statement sent to DAILY NIGERIAN, the decision was taken by the management of the team on Tuesday in Owerri, the Imo State capital as the “Naze Millionaires” continue their build up for the forthcoming season.
Until his appointment, Mr Abdallah was the chief coach of the Imo State-based club.
He served as the chief scout of the national U20, the Flying Eagles that featured in AFCON U20 in Niger Republic and U20 FIFA World Cup in Poland in 2019.
He also served in the same capacity under the immediate past U17 Golden Eaglets’ set under coach Fatai Amoo.
The former Nigerian International is a brother to former Enyimba and Wikki Tourist coach, Usman Sharif Abdallah.
