The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has summoned an emergency National Executive Committee, NEC, meeting billed to take place on Friday.

Although no agenda stated on the statement, DAILY NIGERIAN gathered that the planned meeting may not be unconnected with the Tuesday’s judgement by the Supreme Court which ousted Emeka Ihedioha as the governor of Imo State.

However, the National Secretary of the party, Ibrahim Tsauri, who made the disclosure in a statement on Thursday, said meeting will discuss the state of the nation.

“All members of the PDP National Executive Committee (NEC) are hereby invited to an emergency meeting of the NEC tomorrow, Friday, 17th January, 2020.”

“Venue is NEC Hall, PDP National Secretariat, Wadata Plaza, Abuja and time is 10 a.m.”

“Members are enjoined to attend as the meeting will discuss the state of the nation,” the statement noted.
