Sokoto state governor, Aminu Tambuwal, governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has promised to accept the outcome of today’s election in good faith.
Mr Tambuwal stated this shortly after casting his vote at the Waziri A Primary School Polling Unit in Tambuwal town, in the state.
The governor also described the turnout of voters particularly of women as impressive.
“In my opinion, the exercise is peaceful across the state even though with minimal challenges. No case of any violation or crises reported to me,” he said.
Mr Tambuwal, therefore, called on electorates to maintain the peace by being orderly in their quest to electing their leaders.
