Islamic cleric, Kabir Gombe, loses mother

A prominent Islamic Scholar and Deputy National Chairman of the Jama’atul Izalatul Bid’a WaIqamatus Sunnah, JIBWIS, Kabir Gombe, has lost his mother, Fatima Abdullahi-Haruna, who died at the age of 75.

The Social Media Director-General of JIBWIS, Ibrahim Baba-Suleiman, made the disclosure Thursday evening via the organisation’s Facebook page.

According to him, Mrs Abdullahi-Haruna died Thursday evening in a hospital in Gombe State after a protracted illness.

The statement added that the aged mother would be buried on Friday after Juma’at prayers at JIBWIS mosque, Bolari.
