President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, Bola Tinubu and other stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress, APC, are currently holding a crucial meeting to decide the stand of the party on major issues relating to the 2019 elections.
The party’s National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, is leading other members of the National Working Committee to the meeting.
DAILY NIGERIAN gathered that one of the top issues the committee would discuss on is the adoption or otherwise of the earlier suggested direct primaries.
However, reports have it that some governors and Senators have threatened to leave the party depending on the decision of the committee.
Recall that some members of the party had earlier expressed reservations on the issue, asserting that powerful members of the party may influence the decision of the delegates.
