JUST IN: Court convicts 2 ex-INEC officials who benefitted from $115.01m Diezani’s largesse

A Federal High Court in Lagos on Thursday convicted two ex-INEC officials who benefitted from a sum of $115.01m which a former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke doled out.

One of the convicted officials is an ex-Administrative Secretary of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Christian Nwosu, who was charged with bribery.

Mr Nwosu was found guilty of collecting N30m from the funds.
