Former Supreme Court Justice, Abubakar Bashir Wali has died on Tuesday after a protracted illness in Kano.
Mr Wali was a pioneer legal practitioner in the North and the first Judge from the Shariah Court of Appeal to rise through the rank to become a Justice of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.

The late Justice is one of the pioneer legal practitioners from Northern Nigeria.
He started his career as a magistrate.
According to a family source, the deceased would be buried this afternoon in Kano.
