The Executive Chairman, Kano State Internal Revenue Service, KIRS, Sani Dambo has resigned his appointment.
Mr Dambo, in a letter addressed to the Secretary to the State Government, the resignation takes effect from today, Thursday.
The chairman had resigned after heading the revenue agency for five years.
Although reason for Mr Dambo’s resign is still unknown, it was gathered that Mr Dambo’s decision might not be unconnected with the allegations of financial misappropriation and lack of staff welfare.
