Acting President Yemi Osinbajo on Wednesday assigned portfolios to two new ministers confirmed by the Senate.
On July 26, two months after confirmation by the Senate, Mr Osinbajo, sworn in the two new ministers, without assigning portfolios to them.
The new ministers, Stephen Ocheni from Kogi State and Suleiman Hassan from Gombe State are to replace the vacuum left by late James Ocholi and Amina Mohammed who is now serving as deputy secretary general of the United Nations.
While Mr Ocheni is to serve as Minister of State for Labour and Productivity, Mr Hassan was appointed Minister of State Power, Works and Housing.
Mr Osinbajo also sworn in 15 permanent secretaries in the federal civil service.
