JUST IN: Osinbajo presides over NEC meeting in Aso Rock

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is currently chairing the National Economic Council, NEC, meeting at Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The meeting, which started around 11am was the 96th and fourth NEC meeting in 2019.

Our correspondent observed that only a few out of the 36 state governors weren’t in attendance while others were represented by their deputies.

Also in attendance at the meeting were the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Mohammed Bello; Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Zainab Ahmed; and the Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire.
