Heavily armed policemen have taken over the National Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Abuja.
The policemen, who are in four pick-up patrol vehicles, are apparently there to enforce the court’s sacking of Oshiomhole as the National Chairman of the party.
Recall that on Wednesday, a Federal Capital Territory High Court, Abuja had suspended Mr Oshiomhole as the chairman of the party.
Justice Danladi Senchi ordered that Mr Oshiomhole should remain suspended pending the determination of the substantive suit seeking his perpetual removal as chairman of the party.
Speaking reporters at the party’s National Secretariat, the acting National Secretary of the party, Victor Giadom, said the APC as a law-abiding political party will respect the decision of the court suspending Mr Oshiomhole.
