President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday received Prince Charles who last visited the country in 2006 during President Olusegun Obasanjo’s tenure.
They arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at exactly 1.10pm Tuesday and were received by Senior Nigerian and British officials.
With him is Princess Camilla, the British High Commissioner to Nigeria, Paul Arkwright and others.
DAILY NIGERIAN reports that the royal visit into the country is expected to engage in peace-building activities and addressing the farmers – herders clashes.
It was also gathered that the visit was aimed at strengthening the ties between Nigeria and the Britain as members of the Commonwealth.
Prince Charles took over as the head of the Commonwealth of Nations last April, succeeding his mother, Queen Elizabeth II.
