The Kaduna State Government has debunked a report in social media claiming that helicopters had supplied arms to criminals in Zaria Local Government Area of the state.

DAILY NIGERIAN reports that certain blogs and social media pages had alleged that helicopters were seen on Wednesday supplying gunmen with arms at Ungwan Dankali and Tsallaken Dogo of the local government area.

Debunking the allegation, the state Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, in a statement on Friday, said the story is entirely false and misleading, following thorough checks conducted by security agencies and Human Intelligence networks.
